The location is within a very short drive from the sandy beach of Coral Bay and the nearby banks, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Paphos International Airport is 25km away and Paphos, which has a large selection of shops, restaurants and a good nightlife, is just 12km away.

West from Paphos and just beyond Coral Bay is the small fishing harbour of St. George. Dominated by the church dedicated to the saint, it has a small beach with gently shelving water and a few seaside tavernas offering local specialities. Villa Lara, named after the nearby Lara Bay, stands just above the picturesque bay of St George with its small fishing harbour and selection of tavernas. The villa is situated in a quiet location by the coast with unobstructed views of the sea and enjoys some of the most breathtaking sunsets available. There are no villas within the immediate vicinity of this property and the villa guarantees guests privacy and seclusion. The self sufficient village of Coral Bay is just 4km away and Paphos City Centre is just 12km away. Guests will find an abundance of restaurants, tavernas, banks, supermarkets, cafes and bars at both.

BOOKING INFORMATION: If you would like to provisionally reserve the villa pending your search for suitable flights we would be happy to take this villa off the market for you for a period of 3 days upon request. Once you have found secured suitable flights and are in a position to confirm the villa booking we ask for a down payment of 30% and the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please note for flight purposes that we ask that you move into the villa after 15.00 hours on arrival and we would like the property back by 11.00 am on the day of your departure, unless by prior arrangement. Fantastic Location Martyn1972 Horsham, England. Date Submitted: June 30, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009 The reason you must book this villa is the incredible location and amazing, unspoilt view. The villa is located about 5 miles west of Coral Bay in Agios Georgios on the edge of the Akamas Peninsula. It stands alone and is not overlooked at all. The view from the pool, the patio and the two upstairs balconies is breathtaking. It is as you see in the picture but even better. Totally unspoilt by other villa’s, hotel’s, high rises etc. Despite its isolated location it is only a 10 minute drive to Coral Bay on nice quiet roads. Pahos is a further 10 minutes from Coral Bay. A car is essential. Although situated only 100 metres from the sea there isn’t really an accessible beach at the end of the garden. We negotiated the steep, rocky drop to the shoreline only to find it devoid of sand and covered in washed up rubbish. This is no fault of the owner it is just a bit of wild coastline. There is plenty of beach action nearby within a five to ten minute drive and a charming harbour is less than a 10 minute walk away. The villa is in good overall condition and we found it to be clean and tidy albeit a little basic, (by our standards). Air Conditioning is available in the main living area and each bedroom and makes a huge difference. The furniture is clean and functional. The only down side was that we found the beds to be very firm, so much so that we both found it difficult to sleep. The pool was great, a nice size and again clean and well maintained. The pool is surrounded by maturing bushes and plants which at the time of our visit were in full flower and looked amazing. The owner came by several times during our stay normally in the early evening to tend the garden and pool etc. He seemed friendly but didn’t intrude on our privacy. The firm unforgiving beds and basic furnishing’s result in a good rather than excellent overall rating. If you want a peaceful, unspoilt location away from it all but within a short drive to good beaches and restaurants then you won’t go far wrong with Villa Lara Beach.

The villa is located within 30 minutes of the Aphrodite Hills & Resort which features an 18 hole championship golf course, a double ended 350 meter practice range, 4 target greens with bunkers, short game practice facilities, 3 academy holes (1xPar3, 2xPar4), 2 resident professional golf instructors, a large and inviting clubhouse with bar and restaurant facilities, terraces overlooking the 18th green, Pro shop offering the latest fashion in golf apparel, and golf equipment from the leading manufacturers.
